A Brief History

Before coming to France Alan worked for many years at D.H.Chidlow (plants), a successful, highly respected plant and shrub growing company near Snaith, East Yorkshire. Here, he worked his way up to a managerial position.

Having achieved his goals at the company he said an amicable good-bye and moved on to form his own gardening and landscape business, 'Moorgreen Garden Craft', in his native area of Saddleworth, in the foot-hills of the Pennines.

As well as general garden work Alan was able to use his gifts for; natural design, ideas and intuition, and forming easier to manage gardens. With a focus on customer care his enterprise rapidly became popular with businesses and garden clubs as well as the general public. Alan moved to France in 2003.
